Like everyone who went through engineering courses , we all had to face the important internship every year ( in my country at least ) , and as I am willing to have a Networking career I am having troubles finding a fitting and "challenging " subject for my internship , actually , my mentor told me if I have any subjects in mind so I couldn't find a better place than this community to ask for a challenging routing&switching subject. I have the CCENT cert and am halfway towards CCNA R&S .
So thanks alot for your suggestions , It will really help alot.
and for the info , my internship is in a service provider.
At a SP there should be plenty of routing. One thing that could be interesting is to see how optimally traffic is routed. If they are using something like route reflectors, how is it affecting their traffic patterns. It's probably a bit too advanced for CCNA level though. You could also analyze their routing configurations, for the IGP they are running. Just some ideas.
